As skills and knowledge are not only found in the United States, we are opening this new section to give an opportunity for Spanish-speaking developers to let more of the public know their apps for Windows Phone and Windows 8 that perform.

In this first installment, we bring three very interesting applications: Shortcuts4All, Step Counter and Dorian Gray.

Shortcuts4All

If you want to create shortcuts to different options on your smartphone, Shortcuts4All may be an option to consider thanks to the versatility and variety of options that it has.

With this application, created by PablosOne from Spain, you can create shortcuts to your main screen that lead to settings such as WiFi, data mobiles, cameras and others, in addition, you can also create some that take you, for example, to the screen to send a new email or add an appointment to the calendar. There is a great variety.

For the tiles, we can choose some predefined ones or create one ourselves with some image, size and icon. In addition, the application also allows us to create custom shortcuts for applications such as WhatsApp or Facebook.

Shortcuts4All offers a lot of things to do, and the developer seems to be attentive to the comments left by users to improve it. Shortcuts4All is priced at $0.99, but it has a trial version that will let you put 3 shortcuts. It is only available for Windows Phone 8.

Step Counter

Shaka44, a Colombian developer, among all the applications he made, there is one that caught my attention: Step Counter. It allows to count the steps we take, but instead of using the GPS it uses the accelerometer; Once activated, we must put the phone in our pocket and walk, and the application will count each step we take.

It is a simple application, and complies with what it offers. Step Counter is free and is available on both Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 7.

Dorian Gray

In addition to a nice application icon, it allows to read the famous book of Dorian Gray from our terminalThe developer, Binamedia from Colombia, has done a good job on the development, offering something nice to look at and useful tools.

The app's design is quite loose, true to Modern UI. On the main screen we will have 3 columns: the button to continue reading, the chapters of the book and our bookmarks. When we start reading, we will see that the reading interface is very similar to the Amazon Kindle application We can change the color of the screen to White, Black or Sepia, and go to a particular position in the chapter, in addition, you can create bookmarks in the position we are in and it even has a dictionary (which requires us to be connected to the internet).

The Dorian Gray application is completely free, and is available for Windows Phone 8 and 7.
