Microsoft renews the Surface Laptop in the second generation: it has been enough to improve the power of a remarkable design

We are facing the second generation of the Surface Laptop, a portable computer that last year came as a companion to Windows 10 S Mode, the version of Windows that crashed inevitably.A team designed above all for educational environments that in this second generation has seen how its power has increased remarkably.
We start with the design, and in this sense we must highlight the few novelties it offers, since it maintains the design of the previous model to which now adds the aforementioned matte black finish. It is the novelty along with the other three colors.
Where we did find improvements is in the performance offered thanks to a notorious improvement in the hardware it mounts The Surface Laptop 2 makes use of an 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor with 4 cores which translates to 85% more power when compared to the original Surface Laptop.
The processor is supported in its performance by 8 GB of DDR4 RAM memory which is completed by 128 GB of SSD storage, figures that do not reduce autonomy, which according to the company is maintained at just over 15 hours.These data refer to the basic version.
The Surface Laptop 2 includes a backlit keyboard and to the million dollar question no, it doesn't offer any USB Type-C ports. Microsoft is still not blatantly betting on this type of connection.
Price and availability
EL Surface Laptop 2 will be released in the United States on October 16 for a starting price of $999 at its basic configuration. We still have to wait to find out its price in euros and when it will arrive in Europe.
