Samsung could bet on a Snapdragon 850 processor for its next convertible with Windows 10

These days in Taipei, (Taiwan), Computex 2018 is being held, which is considered one of the most important within the technological world that we will see throughout the year. A technological event in which to learn first-hand about the latest developments in computing.
One of the firms present is Qualcomm, the protagonist this year for the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 processor and which is now back in the news due to the agreement it has apparently reached with the Korean giant Samsung. As a result of this agreement a device would arrive included in the 2 in 1 category with Windows 10 as an operating system
Much better than Snapdragon 835
We must remember, before continuing, that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 is not the successor to the Snapdragon 845, the processor that we can find within the latest models of _smartphones_ launched on the market. It is above all a development focused on being used on computers with Windows 10, that is, those included within the new batch with ARM processors.
The Snapdragon 850 makes use of Kryo 385 cores that go up to 2.95 GHz and download speeds of up to 1 , 2 Gbps with the X20 LTE modem. A powerful model that apparently will reach a new team that Samsung will put on the market.
It would belong to a new series of products that would have the Snapdragon 850 inside, more evolved and optimized equipment (the differences with the Qualcomm 835 are brutal), than those that are currently arriving in stores in the case of Asus or Lenovo.
Samsung would bet on a 2-in-1 device in which the functions already seen in computers launched with an ARM processor would be combined. A mixture of telephone, as it has a permanent connection and a traditional portable, which would also have greater autonomy.
This is not a strange move, as Samsung already has an interesting variety of computers with Windows 10.
For now it is the only information that has been known about it. We can only speculate about the rest of the features of this new device and wait for more details that we will tell you promptly.
