Huawei updates its MateBook D range laptops to stand up to computers with ARM processors
Table of contents:
o It is wrong for this time to have options to give away (or give away) and that seems to be what the manufacturers that launch a good number of new products to the market seek to achieve. Whether they are pure novelties or updates, they offer an important range of options when choosing one or another product and electronics is usually the protagonist.
Televisions, _smartphones_, tablets or, as it concerns us now, laptops, are the protagonists of a good part of the gifts that Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men leave behind. And an updated laptop is the one announced a few hours ago by Huawei, a launch that comes to compete in an increasingly saturated market. It is the Huawei MateBook D.
The arrival of computers with ARM processors seems to have served as a trigger for traditional computers to update their proposals. And Huawei has done something like this with its laptop, the MateBook D. A proposal within the range of large screen models"
It is not for nothing that this is a team that sports a screen with a 15.6-inch diagonal mounted on an IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. A screen that offers a maximum brightness of 350 nits and 45% NTSC color coverage. Inside we find Intel Core i7/i5 processors with Coffee Lake architecture accompanied by an Nvidia GeForce MX150 graphics and a 256 GB SSD storage capacity with 8 GB of RAM.
The new Huawei MateBook D features two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0, 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity, an output of HDMI video two widescreen speakers. A device that promises up to 10 hours of autonomy for normal use or 8.5 hours if we use it to play video.
These are the three configurations available:
- Intel Core i5-8250U processor with 8GB, 256GB SSD and MX150 graphics 5188 yuan (655 euros)
- Intel Core i5-8250U processor with 8G, 128GB SSD plus 1TB HDD and MX150 graphics 5488 yuan (707 euros)
- Intel Core i7-8550U processor with 8G memory, 128GB SSD plus 1TB HDD and MX150 graphics for 6688 yuan (859 euros)
As far as design is concerned, we find an elegant and discreet design in aluminum with some bevels of only 3.2 millimeters and a weight of 1.9 kilograms . It follows the line of other proposals that we have seen so far this year, at least in the final stretch.
