Microsoft releases first update to fix all bugs on Surface Book 2
Who said that the laptop was dead? Many thought so and from Microsoft they opted for the opposite. And how the movement is demonstrated by walking, they launched the Surface Book 2 in a presentation in which they combined the limelight with Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.
On sale a few days ago in some markets (Spain is not among them), the Surface Book 2 is a mix between a conventional computer with a portable format in a slim, lightweight packaging adding the versatility of a convertible.A team in which Redmond has high hopes to stand up to an increasingly competitive sector, which is why they want to take care of their creature as it deserves and the best way to do it is through continuous updates.
And said and done; Microsoft is already distributing the first update for its Surface Book 2. An update intended to improve system stability and above all to correct bugs that have occurred in some components and that have caused the anger of the owners of this laptop.
Here are the enhancements coming to Surface Book 2 with Windows 10 version 1703:
- Intel (R) HD Graphics 620: Display adapters version 22.20.16.4840 improves system stability.
- Surface EFI: Firmware 387.1879.769.0 improves system stability.
- Surface Dial Filter: Human Interface Devices in version 1.19.136.0 improves system stability.
- Surface Integration: Version 4.6.136.0 improves system stability.
- Surface DTX: Update 2.27.136.0 improves system stability.
- Surface UCSI Device: Universal Bus drivers are updated to version 2.14.136.0 and improve system stability.
If your Surface Book 2 already has Windows 10 Fall Creators Update in version 1709 these are the improvements you will receive:
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 and version 23.21.13.8808 required to use Windows Mixed Reality.
- If using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 device adapters are required 23.21.13.8808 to use Windows Mixed Reality.
- Surface ACPI Notify Driver: Version 5.15.136.0 is required to use Windows Mixed Reality.
- Surface Integration Service Device: Version 4.14.136.0 is required to use Windows Mixed Reality.
