And once the announcement is made, it's time to talk about _hardware_, about the first computers that will arrive in stores with this configuration, Laptops that come from two of Microsoft's traditional _partners_ such as HP and Asus.Their proposals respond to the names of HP ENVY X2 and Asus NovaGo and these are their specifications
HP ENVY X2
We start with the HP ENVY X2, a computer in the form of a convertible that will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor inside, the which will be supported by LPDDR4X type RAM memory of up to 8 GB completed by available storage in SSD format of up to 256 GB capacity.
The HP ENVY X2 screen will come on a 12.3-inch IPS touch panel that will offer a WUXGA+ resolution or what is the same, 1920 x 1280 pixels. A screen that will have Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The Asus NovaGo is a stylish laptop and not a convertible. That translates into a greater weight, which reaches 1.39 kilograms and a greater thickness that reaches 14.9 millimeters.
A laptop that mounts a 13.3-inch screen on an IPS panel in which a Full HD resolution is reached, or what is the same, 1920 x 1080 pixels. Inside, the well-known Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor supported by a RAM memory type LPDDR4X of up to 8 GB and UFS 2.0 flash storage of 256 GB capacity .
Being a laptop, connectivity is improved and thus we find two USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI video output, Bluetooth connectivity and the possibility of using the Asus Pen stylus. It also incorporates, like the ENVY X2, the Snapdragon X16 LTE modem that allows it to work under 4G LTE networks with speeds of up to 1.2 GbpsAn equipment that integrates a battery that will allow up to 22 hours of autonomy in video playback.
