HP announces the EliteBook Folio and a new Specter x360

With CES 2016 in Las Vegas in full swing, HP unveils some new hats to tip your eyes to: one product that will turn heads is the EliteBook Folio, although you should also keep an eye on a new variant of the Specter X360.
A few months ago some really interesting HP innovations were already seen in Barcelona, and many more were unveiled during Consumer Electronics in Las Vegas: for example the HP EliteBook 1040 G3, which promises to be the The world's lightest 14" professional laptop.
EliteBook Folio, resistance and elegance
The HP EliteBook Folio could be considered one of the most stylish laptops presented at the North American fair, and it will also have a very practical feature in certain circumstances: the screen can be tilted up to 180º, leaving it completely flat.
From the point of view of design and level of finishes, the laptop will have a polished aluminum body and enough resistance to face the tests of the US military standard MIL-STD.
At the level of connectivity, it is worth noting the incorporation of two USB Type C ports with Thunderbolt 3 and, in reference to productivity, the owner of the EliteBook Folio you will also enjoy a clickpad ready to take advantage of the gestures of Windows 10.
The 12.5" screen, which allows viewing 95% of the Adobe RGB gamut, will be able to reach a UHD resolution ( 3840x2160 pixels), with a density of 352 pixels per inch.
This ultra-slim laptop will include Windows 10 Pro operating system and a 6th Generation Intel Core M vPro processor, to guarantee a high performance and energy efficiency. Battery duration? A maximum of 10 hours is estimated.
The market price in Spain for the EliteBook Folio will start at 999 euros (VAT not included).
An AMOLED screen for the Specter X360
Although the Specter X360 was already introduced a few weeks ago, HP has stormed CES 2016 with a variant with 13.3" OLED displayand Quad HD resolution, which will be released in North America in the spring.The added value of the new panel?The most obvious contribution has to do with the presentation of the contents, having a greater range of colors.
Like the EliteBook Folio, HP will include sound technology from Bang & Olufsen, boosting audio quality to the play FLAC-type content or other low-compression formats.
In this new variant Specter X360 will continue to have that distinctive capacity of the original product, that is, being able to go from the laptop concept to the tablet concept just by moving the screen.
