This is a new ultraportable that we can include within the _premium_ that HP has launched this year. The HP EliteBook 1030 is a model that sports measurements that place it in the most demanded range on the market, as it mounts a screen of 13.3 inches but thanks to Very reduced bezels offer measurements closer to those we can find in a 12-inch model.
The screen is available in two versions, one with Full HD resolution and another with QHD resolution that will offer 3200 x 1800 pixels and option touch technology. As a common feature, both have protection thanks to Corning Glass technology.
The HP Elite 1030 also incorporates a backlit keyboard that is splash resistant, a protection that at the most inopportune moment can be well received. It also makes use of a large trackpad and an audio system signed by Bang & Olufsen.
The chassis is made of aluminum, as in other products of the brand. offering a very slim body and a great feeling of robustness and reliability. In fact, it has been tested to the point where it is capable of passing MIL-STD military grade tests.
In its interior it mounts processors from the Intel Skylake range, specifically the Core M, thanks to which it achieves a range of up to 13 hours (according to the manufacturer). It is completed with a RAM memory that can reach up to 16 Gbytes and a storage in the form of a PCIe SSD of 512 Gbytes.
Regarding connectivity, it includes two USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, HDMI output, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and for headphones. It comes with Windows 10 as the operating system and adds a series of functions and features to enhance security such as a fingerprint reader or HP Sure Start for BIOS protection and user identity.
Price and availability
