While it looks like there will finally be no $200 14-inch laptop, HP has delivered on part of its promise and has announced a series of low-cost Windows PCs 8.1 These come to configure the new family of devices HP Stream of the company, which will include tablets and laptops designed for the range of operating system entry.

What we do know is that they will have full Windows 8.1 and will come with a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal, which includes 1TB of OneDrive space and 60 minutes of Skype each month.
These tablets come to compete in the low-end market thanks to their reasonable price: $99 for the HP Stream 7 and $149 for the HP Stream 8They will go on sale first in the United States throughout the month of November, with no known availability and price in other territories.
HP Stream 11-, 6-, and 13.3-inch Laptops
Alongside the tablets, HP has also announced two laptop models for its Stream range, one with an 11.6-inch screen and another with a 13.3-inch screen. Both have Intel Celeron processors inside and come with 32 GB of storage in the form of flash memory. In the case of the 13.3-inch model, it will also be possible to opt for a touch screen to control Windows 8.1 with your fingers.
Both models share the same design, are available in blue or magenta, and come with a 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal and 1TB of OneDrive storage space. They also bring with them a gift card with 25 dollars to buy applications and games from the Windows Store. All for $199.99 for the 11.6-inch model and $229.99 for the 13.3-inch modelIts sale will begin in the United States from the month of November.
Prices and availability for Spain
HP has not been slow to reveal the prices and dates on which its new HP Stream models will be available in Spain.
