Samsung Series 7 Chronos and Ultra

It didn't take long for Samsung to update its high-end laptops at the gates of CES 2013, the famous Samsung Series 7 Chronos and Ultra are updated incorporating some improvements in their internal hardware as well as high-resolution touch screens to take better advantage of Windows 8.
Samsung Series 7 Chronos
The Samsung Series 7 Chronos is one of the highest-end notebooks from Koreans, this new version offers a quad processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 cores, up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB HDD storage.
The laptop has a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, this panel could be touch panel if the configuration allows it offers. Of course, its graphics also receive their respective update, now bringing with it an AMD Raden HD 8870M GPU with 2GB dedicated memory.
In other things we find USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, a backlit keyboard, as well as a battery with a promised 11 hours of life that would position the laptop as one of the highest autonomy on the market.
Samsung Series 7 Ultra
The other laptop announced by Samsung is the Series 7 Ultra, this comes with a more ultrabook format with configurable specifications, being able to decide between Intel Core i7 or i5 processors, as well as storage options of up to 256GB in SSD format.
Its screen would be 13.3 inches with the option of mounting a touch panel with reading up to ten points and with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. We also have AMD HD 8570M graphics with 1GB of memory, weighing only 1.46 kg, backlit keyboard and an 8 hour battery life on paper.
Price and availability
We don't know pricing or availability yet for the Samsung Series 7 Chronos and Ultra, but let's wait for CES 2013 and surely we will know more about these two laptops as well and we will have more direct contact with them through our team at the event.
