HP has surprised today by launching a desktop PC that is totally out of what we are used to seeing. This is the HP Sprout, an all-in-one unit that includes a projector and cameras on top , both of which point to a 20-inch touchpad at the bottom end. Both elements interact to create a work area that allows us to interact with the PC in a different way, facilitating design and editing tasks."

What HP Sprout is looking for in this way is creating an experience with 2 screens, the traditional vertical one, plus the work area located on the lower panel, with which you can work in a more natural way, as if it were a sheet of paper.

The top has an RGB camera, another 14.6 megapixel camera and a 3D scanner with Intel RealSense technology, with the which can digitize the shape and color of real-world objects and then interact with them on HP Sprout. As an added bonus, the upper part also includes LED lighting so that the lower panel never leaves us in the dark.

The lower touch panel supports up to 20 touch points, and is capable of displaying a virtual keyboard, but we can also use the device with a physical keyboard and mouse, which are included.

Of course, such innovations are of little use if there is no adequate software to take advantage of them. That's why Sprout includes HP Workspace, a platform to support special features of the projector and touchpad. In addition, HP is looking to develop Windows applications specifically for the Sprout, highlighting some that already exist such as games and image and video editing software.

In terms of technical specifications, the HP Sprout is located in the high range with the following components:

OS Windows 8.1
Processor Intel Core i7-4790S
Graphic card NVIDIA GeForce GT 745A with 2GB DDR3
Screen 23-inch LED, Full HD, 10-point multi-touch

"

And along with the equipment itself, HP will also be selling two accessories that may be useful to more than one person.
