The Surface Pro 8 sees new specifications leak: reduced frames
Table of contents:
On September 22 we hope to learn about new hardware from Microsoft. Among the candidates a new Surface Go that would reach the third edition, a possible revision of the Surface Duo, a renewed Surface Book or the one that has the most rumors, a new Surface Pro that now sees how news are leaked specs
We already saw how some data was leaked last week and now the source of information comes from a retailer and in which reference is made to the display, processor, connections and storage system.
The long-awaited reduced frames are coming
Twitter user @Shadow_Leak has echoed the information provided by a retailer referring to a Surface Pro equipped with an 11th generation Intel Core processor adopting a 13-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and smaller bezels, something you've been expecting.
A computer that, as expected, will arrive with Windows 11 already installed and will also use, according to this information, two Thunderbolt ports and a storage system based on replaceable SSD hard drives that makes it easy to swap drives.
Of all these benefits, if they are finally fulfilled, the reduction in frames and the change in connections is good news. The first because the current Surface Pro looks like a piece of equipment from another time when compared to the competition and in terms of connections, user complaints have been a constant .
To all these benefits we must add that it is almost certain that the new Surface Pro will arrive offering compatibility with WIFI 6. Some clues that also point to some possible combinations:
- Processor Intel Core i3 with 4GB RAM and 128 GB via SSD
- Processor Intel Core i3, 8GB RAM and 128 GB via SSD.
- Processor Intel Core i5, 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB SSD
- Intel Core i7processor with 6GB RAM or 32GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB SSD storage.
We will still have to wait two days to find out which products Microsoft ends up presenting and if finally the expected Surface Pro 8 is seen accompanied by the Surface Go 3, a Surface Book 4, a refreshed Surface Pro X, and an updated Surface Duo.
