Table of contents:
At the beginning of the summer we saw the arrival of the Surface Go convertible tablet. The Microsoft's proposal to compete with the iPad in the education sector began to reach other markets and thus in Spain we can get hold of it since August.
We knew that Microsoft would release an LTE-enabled version of its convertible. With the same features as the original model, this Surface Go would be included within the range of Always Connected devices (always connected), a model that is already beginning to arrive to some markets.
As usual, The United States is the first market where the Surface Go will be available later this month. It will arrive in Canada on November 20 and in 21 other countries by November 22. Those interested can now start making reservations.
The Surface Go LTE will increase the price compared to the basic model that we all know and it will go from about 399 dollars to the 679 dollars of the model in question although it offers superior features to the model that only offers Wi-Fi connectivity.
Compared to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, this model offers 128 GB of storage, 8 GB of RAM and Same 1.6GHz Intel Pentium Gold 4415Y processor as other Surface models.
The rest of the characteristics are maintained. The Surface Go features a fanless design and the battery offers up to nine hours of battery life. The rest of the specs are rounded out with a USB Type-C port for connectivity, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with Windows Hello, and an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera. The Surface Go will also support Dolby Audio Premium sound and Surface Pen. In this case and as it happened with the iPad, it is a fundamental accessory that will offer 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
