Samsung wants to conquer the tablet market but now it sets its sights on doing it with Windows 10

Anonim

Samsung, the electronics giant, has set its sights on tablets and what a novelty some may think. The manufacturer already has a relatively extensive range of this type of device but unlike what it offers up to now, now it would have set its eyes on Windows 10

And all the rumors suggest that in this Mobile World Congress in Barcelona we could see how Samsung presents a new tablet or rather, a new convertible. A device that for now is known as TabPro S2 and that would come to replace TabPro S.

It will be in little more than two weeks when we will clear up doubts but for now and according to the leaked information we know that this new device would run on Windows 10(Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro is unclear for now) and would feature a sleek design that wouldn't differ much from what we found on the TabPro S.

It is also speculated that we could see a variant that included support for the use of data connection via 4G LTE. As for _hardware_ this TabPro S2 would make use of a Super AMOLED QHD screen with a resolution of 2160×1440 pixels and a 12-inch diagonal. Inside an Intel Core i5 Kaby Lake processor that would work at 3.1GHz supported by 4GB of RAM, an Intel HD Graphics 620 graphics and would have up to 128 GB of storage via SSD (expandable with a microSD card), two USB Type C ports (corrects the shortage in the previous model with only one) and a 5070 mAh battery.

Regarding the multimedia section, everything indicates that we will see two cameras, a 13-megapixel main camera with the possibility of recording in 4K quality and a front camera for video calls with support for Windows Hello and 5 megapixels.

For now these are the data that have been leaked and it is that if until now we thought of a somewhat watered-down MWC due to the absence of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and other leading _smartphones_, it seems that it will be the tablets (yesterday we already saw a possible presentation of Microsoft with Intel and Porsche) those in charge of assuming the leading role
