Surface Pro 4 Specs

The initial specifications we have for this new device are:

This laptop comes with PixelSense, technology that enables hand and object detection to move items on the screen (initially introduced with the first Microsoft Surface; the giant table).

According to Microsoft itself, this new version of the Surface is 30% more powerful than the Surface Pro 3 and 50% more powerful than the MacBook Air .

The Surface Pro 4 also comes with a stylus with 1024 pressure levels and an eraser>"

On the other hand, the TypeCover has also gained some improvements, as the keys are now further apart to mimic the feel of a normal keyboard, and the touchpad is 40% larger than the previous one. In addition, it will also be compatible with the Surface Pro 3.

And lastly, it is compatible with the new dock station, which adds four USB 3.0 ports, two Display Ports with support for 4K displays, and a Gigabit Ethernet network port.

Price and availability

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will start at $899 and will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow (7 October), and on October 26 it will be available to the public.

We still need to know when the launch date will be for the other countries of the globe and the separate prices of the new TypeCover.
