Continuing the veritable leak season for Windows 10 PCs that we&39;ve seen in recent days, now the leaks have been leaked as well. specifications of the successor to the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro, one of the most interesting convertible computers that was launched during the year 2014, and that will now arrive in an improved version under the name of Lenovo Yoga 900 "

In this new iteration, Lenovo seeks to address the 2 main criticisms that the Yoga 3 Pro received at the time: the low power of its processor(Core M) and not-so-spectacular battery life.To improve these sections, it uses the new Skylake generation of Intel processors, offering the chips i7-6500U and i5-6200U, and a 50% more capacity battery (66 watt-hours, vs. 44 in the Yoga 3 Pro).

As for the screen, the resolution is still very high, at 3200 x 1800 pixels, using an IPS QHD+ panel. It is allowed to include up to 16 GB of LP-DDR3 RAM, and SSD storage units from 256 to 512 GB.

The keyboard will be backlit and full-size, 802.11 ac WiFi connectivity will be included, and although it is not mentioned, we assume that there will also be Bluetooth 4.0 or 4.1 connectivity.

Regarding the ports, we will have one USB-C port (which replaces the microHDMI), two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 (which will also serve to connect the charger), an SD card reader, and a 3.5mm audio input/output.

The only disadvantage compared to its predecessor, in addition to the loss of the microHDMI port, seems to be the weight, since having increased the battery capacity the equipment ends up weighing 110 grams more (1.29 kilograms, versus 1.18kg for the Yoga 3 Pro).

The Lenovo Yoga 900 is expected to hit the market within the next 2 months (before the holidays), for an approximate price of $1,400 or from 1299 euros.
