Envy 8 Note
Good news for those looking for a small Windows 10 tablet for taking notes, as specifications have been released for what will be the Envy 8 Note from HP, a device that promises to captivate many lovers of Windows and digital pens.
Its processor will be a Intel Atom Cherry Trail x5 (slightly smaller than the Surface 3) and will include 64 GB of internal storage, next to microSD slot to add more space. It will also include a 5 megapixel rear camera, a microUSB port and a microSIM slot that will allow the tablet to be used with LTE connectivity.
As we mentioned before, this tablet will come with a digital pen, but also with a full-size accessory keyboard These peripherals would be included in the price of the device, rather than being sold separately (as is the case with the Surface 3). The weight of the tablet alone will be 430 grams, while the keyboard and stylus will weigh 550 and 16 grams respectively.
The keyboard and stylus would be included in the price of the equipment, instead of being sold separatelyAs for sensors, the Envy 8 Note will come with an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. And apparently it will also include a special case designed to protect the computer's screen and to move the keyboard comfortably.
"Unfortunately, there is still no information on the rest of the specifications, or the price and availability of the Envy 8 Note. There are not even official images (the image that heads this note is of the Pro Tablet 608, we put it only for illustrative purposes).
"In any case, we can get an idea of the shape of the tablet and its case thanks to the photos above, taken at Computex 2015, where the Microsoft presenter used the tablet on stage (but without showing it in detail) qualifying it as a revolutionary device for taking notes."
What do you think of the specifications of this new tablet?Would you be interested in purchasing such equipment?
