In September of last year Toshiba took advantage of the IFA fair to start its journey among tablets with Windows 8.1 under 10 inches with your Toshiba Encore. Toshiba seems to have decided to react quickly and has therefore prepared a second version of its Encore tablet that this time does not come alone.
Along with the 8-inch Toshiba Encore 2, which improves on its predecessor in specifications and price, there is also a version of the tablet with a screen of 10.1 inches and the same spirit of introducing full Windows 8.1 in a device with a contained price. Like good brothers, the two tablets share design, external appearance and a large part of their specifications, which we review below.

The two versions also share the lines of a restrained design with rounded corners that are comfortable to hold in the hand and with a matt finish with a slightly golden appearance. Both measure just 1 centimeter thick, with the 10.1-inch version being slightly heavier at 550 grams versus the 8-inch version's 450.
