The company Prestigio has presented this morning in Madrid a new tablet with x86 chip that hits the market with Windows 8.1 In fact, it is also possible to purchase it with the Windows 8.1 Pro version with different tools and features focused more on the business sector.
This is a 10-inch tablet that mounts a 64 dual-core Intel Celeron chip bits, more powerful than the typical Atom used by the cheapest tablets in this segment.

This tablet has an aluminum body that gives it both robustness and a premium finish, something remarkable in the segment of tablets with Windows 8.1, mainly populated by tablets finished in polycarbonate (plastic). Its screen is multi-touch with a 10.1-inch IPS panel and a resolution 1,280 x 800 pixels
Multipad Visconte has a thickness of 9.9mm and finished with rounded bezels that give it an even slimmer feel. As for its weight, we find a fairly contained figure for this size, 550 grams.

Actually, this tablet is a proper computer since it runs on Windows 8.1 64-bit display featuring an Intel Celeron N2805 processor with 1.46 GHz dual cores, Bay Trail-M , and a GPU that reaches up to 750 MHz. This chip has a consumption of 2.5/ 4.5W (SDP/TDP) and is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM.
The device arrives on the market in a version of 32 / 64 GB and only Wi-Fi or with 3G as well as with the possibility to choose Windows 8.1 Pro as the operating system.
Prestigio has commented that the tablet is capable of lasting a day's work without having to visit an electrical outlet, although, of course, it depends on how we use it. Regarding the specifications of the battery, it integrates a 4,000 mAh battery and requires a light adapter to be charged, not via USB.
In terms of connectivity, it is a tablet that integrates a USB 3.0 port, HDMI output, headphone jack, microSD slot (up to 64 GB) and, in the case of the 3G model, microSIM slot .It has Wi-Fi N wireless connectivity with support for Miracast, and also Bluetooth 4.0.
If we talk about included software, Prestigio offers as standard Office Home & Students 2013, a complete suite for the use of office files in formats traditional Microsoft Office.
