Lenovo Miix2
Table of contents:
We knew that with the upcoming release of Windows 8.1 there would be a wave of new 8-inch touch devices, the first to arrive was the Acer W3 (which we already reviewed), the second was the Toshiba Encore (which we ran into at IFA 2013), and today Lenovo adds one more, the Lenovo Miix2.
The commitment of the tablet is not different at all from that of its competitors, which is to offer a device with a small diagonal, which includes Windows 8.1 and is compatible with all the software we know of, and which sold at an affordable price.
From the design we see that Lenovo has opted for a simple but well-built one, only if we look at the data on its thickness (8.35 millimeters ) and its weight (350 grams) we see that it competes well with devices with similar diagonals.
The display, which is made on an IPS panel, has a diagonal of eight inches and a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, which we have to try to decide what its quality is, it also has multitouch support for up to ten points of contact and viewing angles of up to 178 degrees.
Let's go to the circuits and there is one of the latest processors presented: a quad-core Intel Bay Trail , which is complemented by 2GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB storage, both with the possibility of expansion using a microSD card.
On the multimedia side there are two cameras, one with five megapixels and one with two megapixels to fulfill its mission. And on the software side it runs Windows 8.1 which includes the Home & Student version of Microsoft Office 2013.
