Acer is one of the classic manufacturers of Windows and was not going to stop taking advantage of the possibilities offered by the new system. In the Iconia W series of the company we can find two tablets that offer different configurations and target both the domestic and professional markets. Let's take a quick look at what they offer us and their prices for the Spanish market.

Iconia W510

The W510 is a classic 10.1-inch tablet that includes the option to dock it to a keyboard in the typical style they are looking for opting many manufacturers with Windows 8.The keyboard incorporates, in addition to touchpad and USB 2.0 port, an additional battery that allows to increase autonomy up to 18 hours, being able to last up to 3 weeks in 'standby'. In addition, the tablet's anchorage to the keyboard allows it to recline up to 295 degrees, so that we can use it as a base.

The W510 comes with Windows 8 complete, with the possibility of acquiring it with the Pro version of it. In its guts we find an Intel Atom Z2760 processor, 2 GB of RAM and up to 64 GB of internal storage.

In Xataka they had the opportunity to test it and were quite satisfied with the general performance, although not so much with the finishes. Regarding price and availability, the Acer Iconia W510 with keyboard included is already available from 529 euros And for 100 more euros we will have the versions with Windows 8 Pro.

Iconia W700

The Iconia W700 increases its screen to 11.6 inches, providing it with an HD resolution of 1920x1080. On this occasion, 3rd Generation Intel Core processors have been chosen, with models with i3 and i5. All of them with the remarkable figure of 4GB of RAM. Performance seems assured, promising a power-on time of just 6 seconds.

Unlike its little brother, the W700 doesn't feature a keyboard tether, but rather an an included stand that adds multiple USB ports and an extra batteryThe dock is designed to work in different positions, horizontal or vertical, with different angles of inclination. With it you can use a bluetooth keyboard to work more comfortably.

In Xataka they pointed to their orientation to a professional market. Given its dimensions and weight, it may not be comfortable to use in the hands. The dock is easy to work with, but our colleagues weren't too happy with its design.

For those interested in the Acer Iconia W700, the tablet is already available in our country with a starting price of 699 euros The packs for sale include dock and wireless keyboard included. In January we will also have a version with Windows 8 Pro and keyboard cover for 100 euros more.
