Microsoft releases Build 15254.1 for Windows 10 Mobile

Anonim

We've been talking about Build 16299.15 for Windows 10 on desktop and nothing for mobile? Fall Creators Update for Windows 10 Mobile is going through another branch of development and although we doubt Joe Belfiore's statements will help to get someone interested in a terminal with Windows 10 Mobile, from Microsoft they continue to release updates on form of Builds

After all, they are due to the users they have, who, although they are few, are there. In this sense, they have announced the launch within the Insider Program in the Fast and Slow rings of Build 15254.1. A build that passes as a Release Candidate to see the Fall Creators Update for Windows 10 Mobile arrive

Build 15254.1 will include all fixes already in build 15252 and cumulative update KB4041676. A build in which we will have access to the following improvements:

    "
  • Two-step authentication: Two-step authentication is coming to Windows 10 Mobile. Through this unlocking, a company can apply an additional security layer to its sensitive data through a Man in the Middle policy. Once two-step unlocking is enabled, the phone user will have to enter a numerical pin followed by a certain element that is defined by the company in order to unlock the phone. This complementary element can be the use of another device, in the case of an NFC tag for example"
  • AppLocker Improvements: Thanks to user-generated _feedback_ on warning requests for apps that are blocked by company policies we've worked on improving the user experience (UX) and updated the MDM SyncML scripts associated with the policies.
  • VPN Improvements: In mobility it is increasingly common to handle data through Virtual Private Networks (VPN) so we have added a series of improvements and features that add more reliability to the use of VPN in Windows 10 Mobile.
  • Added improvements to VPN connectivity in Windows 10 Mobile.
  • IKEv2 improvements.
  • Auto reconnect on resume.
  • Improvements to the UWP app platform.
  • Proxy improvements for UWP VPN profile.
  • Enabling the use of MMS when connecting to VPN.

As we can see, these are improvements aimed above all at use in the company of the _smartphone_. Improvements that also will not be the only ones, as Microsoft announced that they plan to add new features to Windows 10 Mobile in the future.
