Microsoft releases Build 14977 for Windows Mobile within the fast ring of the Insider Program
This week as almost always, it's time to talk about updates that in the form of new Builds reach the Microsoft ecosystem, either in the field of desktop computers (grouping laptops and tablets) as well as the discussed section of _smartphones_ that is giving Redmond so many headaches.
On this occasion, Microsoft has released a Build that is dedicated to Windows Mobile and that those members of the Windows Insider Program within the fast ring can enjoy and try. This is Build 14977 and these are its new features.
Build 14977 has arrived only for _smartphones_ so PC users should expect a bit more. A Build that does not provide any noteworthy new features and that focuses above all on fixing errors in order to improve system stability.
- Now we can read Books with EPUB format from Microsoft Edge, provided that they do not have protection.
- Improved and optimized the rendering of content in universal applications, although we can find bugs.
- Cortana now supports third-party alarms even when in Do Not Disturb mode.
- We can customize notifications from the settings app.
- Improved synchronization with Yahoo mail accounts and enabled OAuth support.
- Fixed an issue that caused problems with headphone audio when plugging and unplugging.
- Fixed problems with music playback of some applications.
- Fixed an issue with handling of tabs in Edge.
- Fixed an issue in Start Menu Settings crashing with Continuum
- Fixed a issue with the Camera app and the shutter button.
This is a Build that you can now download and try if you are within the fast ring in the Insider Program. If this is your case and you are already using it you can leave us your impressions about it in the comments.
