Leaked the specifications of the HTC Hima

Table of contents:
Although everything indicates that Microsoft Mobile would not present new high-end Lumia until September 2015 (along with the launch of Windows 10) , HTC gives us a light of hope to be able to see before that date another flagship with the Redmond operating system. This is the HTC Hima, the supposed successor to the One M8, which, like it, would be released in two versions for Windows Phone and Android.
At the beginning of this month we had already commented on the possible specifications of this equipment, along with the possibility that HTC would launch it with variants for both operating systems. Now we finally see confirmed the specifications that were mentioned back then, thanks to the site AnTuTu Benchmark(an Android equivalent of WP Bench) where the HTC Hima has left its first traces, revealing numerous details about its internal components.
Specifically, the information from AnTuTu Benchmark verifies all the data that had previously been leaked by the Twitter account @upleaks, such as the 5-inch Full HD screen, the 3 GB of RAM, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, and the 20, 7 and 13 MP rear and front cameras respectively, which would replace the current Ultrapixel camera, which has not received very good comments in the reviews that have been made.
Of course, the site for now does not say anything about the battery (which was rumored to be 2840 mAh), although since Upleaks got the data of the other components right, it is very likely that the final capacity of the battery will finally be the same as the rumors indicated.
When will HTC Hima be released for Windows Phone?
Something that remains to be seen is when we will be able to see the Windows Phone version of the HTC Hima on the market The information revealed by ApTuTu it only confirms the existence of the Android version, which would be released in a few more weeks, during CES 2015, according to PhoneArena.
And although we know from previous HTC statements that the company is still interested in releasing Windows Phone versions of its Android devices, it is impossible for an HTC Hima with Windows to be present during the next month, since in Windows Phone there is still no support for processors like the Snapdragon 810 that the HTC team includes in its specifications, this being something that will have to wait until Update 2 Windows Phone 8.1.
Under the assumption that Update 2 comes out between the months of April and May 2015 (which is the most likely scenario), we have that the HTC Hima for Windows could be launched close to that date or even a little before. On the other hand, the worst case scenario is that HTC decides to wait until the release of Windows 10, forcing us to wait until September.
We will remain attentive to any new information that arises about the Windows version of this terminal, hoping of course that it sees the light of day sooner rather than later.
