Three games you should try on your Windows Phone (I)

Table of contents:

We open a new monthly section where we discuss three games of the month that you should try on your smartphone with Windows Phone Many say that Windows Phone It does not have the best titles in terms of games (and they may be right), but here we are going to comment on the most outstanding ones that you should try, and thus gradually eliminate that… rumor?

Royal Revolt 2

I rarely got hooked on a game that has that of internal purchases, but this one in particular got me and I still play it until now. There are several things that convinced me about this title: the battle mode, the graphic quality, and the balance between the units.

Royal Revolt 2 is a game where you have to build a city, get units, and defend it from attacks. We could say that the game is divided into two parts: one is to prepare the defenses that go to the door, which is very similar to a Tower-style game Defense . The other is the attack, where we must launch units and go with our king to destroy the defenses of our enemies, who are other real players.

Every time we win, we will get gold coins to pay for improvements in our weapons or defenses. There is also the possibility of obtaining achievements that will give us gems (which can be bought in the store), which allow us to cast powerful spells, advance constructions, and buy gold or food for battles.

One good thing about it is that even if you buy a million gems, if you don't think about how to attack a defense, it may not even help. Each unit and building has a weakness, and you have to take advantage of that to be able to destroy the door before time runs out.

Royal Revolt 2 is completely free, and one of my favorite games of this month.

Galactic Rush

Going to a slightly simpler game, we have the Galactic Rush.In this game we are an astronaut who goes along a path that is generated by himself, where we must jump and avoid different obstacles It is more or less similar to Jetpack Joyride, but with more interesting graphics.

Supported with Unity, the game offers quite interesting graphics and animations, but without sacrificing performance. The game is completely free, but it has internal currency to buy improvements and clothes or characters to use.

Then we level up and we can compete against friends on our Facebook profile. As we progress further, other maps are unlocked ( although we can pay with in-game currency to enable them).

A good title to try on our Windows Phone.

Shift

And finally, a game for when we have to wait anywhere for 5 or 10 minutes. Shift is a Ta-Te-Ti with a one turn of the thread so that it is not the same as always.

It is played the same as always, in that it does not change. The only thing that changes is that here there is no tie, but when there are no more possible moves, the game moves the board to one side and leaves part of it with the pieces that were before and another part empty.

This makes it more dynamic, no pauses or anything like that. Graphically it looks very consistent and careful; "Everything is where it should be." It has a game mode for one or two people (too bad it can't be done using two terminals).

Shift is completely free, so that's another title to keep in mind.
