Microsoft focuses on correcting bugs in the new build it launches for Xbox insiders
A little over a week ago, Microsoft released an update for its XBox One consoles. An update available to all users that with a weight of about 650 MB added sound support among other improvements Dolby Atmos, improvements in the image with Dolby Vision and especially the new and expected avatars.
And while many of us are already testing the improvements it offers, Microsoft continues its path with the tests of what will be the next version that will reach our machines. An update that in the form of Build can now be tested by users of the Alpha Ring of the console
The update that platform insiders can already try has version number 181019-1520 and should reach users in general throughout the month of November, which we are about to launch brand new This is a minor update so we shouldn't expect big news.
The Xbox One system update stands out for including above all improvements of functions already present:
- Use and navigation is improved when we connect a USB keyboard.
- Optimized settings for Dolby Vision, Variable Refresh Rate, and Low Latency modes when enabling 4k mode.
- Added stability improvements.
At the same time there are still a number of issues to be aware of before upgrading:
- Regarding avatars, these can take up to 10 seconds to appear on the screen after their creation.
- Remaining issue where game and app updates are not automatically downloaded and installed.
- Console powers off completely when using Instant-On mode.
- Some users may encounter an incorrect profile color when turning on the console.
We are looking forward to the next console weight update We have seen the new avatars, the main attraction of this fall on the machine from Microsoft, an addition that many have left somewhat cold, since we expected that they would offer more news than we initially found.
