Two new builds with a flavor of the Windows update that should arrive in spring arrive on the Xbox One

A little over a week ago, Microsoft released an update for its XBox One consoles that enabled the possibility of using keyboard and mouse with compatible titles. The option remained in the hands of the developers but there it was, better control, especially in some titles that now reached all users.

An update that followed other improvements such as support for Dolby Atmos sound, image improvements with Dolby Vision and, above all, the new and expected avatars.Updates for everyone, general, unlike the ones that have just been released now, exclusive to members of the Xbox Preview Program. This is Xbox Insider Builds 1811 and 19H1

Build 1811

We begin with the improvements and new features offered by Build 1811, which arrives with availability in the Alpha Ring within the Insider Program of Xbox. These are the improvements it brings:

• The update download process has been improved. Now if the user has checked the download option is automatic installation the process is carried out without errors.
• Fixed errors when displaying information in the My games and apps section.
• Fixed issue where Game Pass and EA Access games would not display if you changed the collection cache.

In Build 1811, however, there are still some known bugs to be aware of:

• Audio issues persist in some games.
• After performing an update, the audio settings return to a previous setting.
• Microsoft is investigating an issue with mouse lag causing performance loss in some games.
• There may be cases of changing the profile color when turning on the console.

Build in branch 19H1

Microsoft's future great update also takes its first steps on Xbox and does so at the hands of Alpha Skip Ring insiders Ahead. These users can now try out some of the improvements coming in the spring:

• Fixed issue that caused audio settings to be reset after an update or reboot.
• Added improvements for audio stability and further improvements to spatial audio.
• We will no longer see a blank white square in the top left corner of the Game Hub screen while in the High Contrast Light theme.
• Fixed bug where console could lose network connectivity at times.
• Fixed bug that caused the console to shut down completely if placed in instant-on mode.
• Fixed the bug that caused consoles to turn off after performing a system update.
• Fixed the problem that caused the console to freeze when accessing the Settings menu.

There are only two known errors that are still present:

• There is still a mouse lag issue causing loss of performance in some games.
• Also continues the bug that causes users to see the wrong profile color when turning on the console.
