Microsoft works on reducing the size of game installations on the Xbox One X
There is very little left to know first-hand what the Xbox One X will be like. see what results it offers, from Microsoft is already starting to heat up the atmosphere
And the best way to do that is by bringing out some of the features and improvements that the new console includes. It is about making users look at their new console with eyes and put aside our Xbox One or Xbox One SAnd for this they already talk about an improvement that the new machine will include and that is referred to an optimization of the space that it needs to store games.
Let's remember that the new game console will be able to play titles in 4K resolutions We love that in the absence of being able to test it, but of course, it offers two drawbacks important. On the one hand, the bandwidth you need, especially for digital titles, and on the other, the free space you need to have on your hard drive
And if in Full HD space often flies from the hard drive, let's imagine what can happen with the so-called 4K resolution. The capacity required to be able to install games at this resolution can be as much as triple of what is currently required.
In this sense, the American company is working on enabling the option for downloaded games to have a smaller size, to be more compact. The way to do this is by getting rid of files that are not needed. Thus, for example, we can do without language packs or content to play in multiplayer mode if we do not have a network connection or we are not Gold members.
To do this, a menu will be enabled in which the user can access all the game parameters and determine which ones he wants to install or not . It will therefore be a measure that the user must adopt and that will not be automatically applied by the system.
This is also a selective option, since not all titles will have access to this possibility. In fact, in Build 1710 of the Xbox Insider Program there is a space that seems destined to house a list of games with this feature.
We are therefore looking forward to the launch of the new console that we remember, it will arrive in stores (it can already be reserved in different stores and among them in the Windows Store) at a price of499, 99 euros with this _pack_:
- Project Scorpio Edition Wireless Controller
- Vertical Stand for Xbox One X Limited Edition
- HDMI cable (4K capable)

- Xbox Live Gold 14-day trial
- 1 month Xbox Game Pass subscription trial
