Fall Creators Update will allow the Xbox One to capture 1080p video on discs connected to the USB port
Fall Creators Update is just around the corner and it's not just computers that will benefit from the improvements of the last major Windows update this year. Xbox One consoles (Xbox One and Xbox One S) will also get their share of improvements and some of them will surely come in handy.
This is the case of the last package of improvements that will arrive this fall and among which is the possibility that both models will now have to capture video at 1080p This will be possible thanks to an update of the Game DVR app and it will not be the only novelty that we will see arrive.
This is an improvement that users belonging to the Alpha Ring within the Xbox Insider Program who received update 1710.170910- 1900. In this sense, we can take screenshots in Full HD and also save them both on the console and on an external hard drive connected via USB
An update that, however, still has some notable flaws and which are the following:
- Sometimes Blu-ray 3D content does not play correctly.
- o hints on the virtual keyboard work. they do not work.
- Contrast problems may occur in messages and entertainment view with light theme.
- Login problems may occur when using Arabic or Hebrew and using the ?Block? security preference. This does not happen if the option ?Ask for my password? or ?No restrictions?. The solution is to configure the console to use another language or alternatively use ?Ask for my password? or ?No restrictions?.
- etflix fails if Hebrew is used.
- Images in the Mixer tab may appear cropped or duplicated.
As you can see, these are improvements that will make the recordings we make of our screen more interesting, with a notable improvement in quality. They won't reach the level of the Xbox One X, but they will greatly improve the experience we have now
