Gaming in 4K and 60 fps? Forza Motorsport 7 could be the first and Project Scorpio would move it without problem
Table of contents:
We already saw on Thursday how the first official specifications about Project Scorpio came to light. Some specifications that revealed the commitment of those from Redmond to make playing games in 4K the flag of their new console thanks to quite powerful hardware.
Our Xataka colleagues, once the specifications were known, announced the equivalence to mount a PC with similar characteristics. A solvent team that could move games at such a resolution. And it is that, after all, what matters are the games and although we all fill our mouths affirming that the graphics are not the most important thing, true is that they are the first thing that enters our eyes.
And a good example to make our teeth long was ForzaTech, the demo that worked at 4K and 60 fps that has left everyone the world in wonder A project that, however, can be left behind or at least that&39;s what they say from Turn 10 since they affirm that Forza Motorsport 7 will be able to match or exceed this quality."
These improvements would be given by the optimization of the use of the GPU that FM7 (Forza Motorsport 7) does with respect to ForzaTech since this makes use of an amount of GPU that oscillates between 55% and 70%. A figure that is far from what the Turnn 10 team would have achieved, which with more development time would have reached a figure close to 88% utilization of the GPU.Thus, in the words of Chris Tector, Sortware Architect at Turn 10:
Improving what a PC can do?
In this way and according to Turn 10 the games would look better than on their PC counterparts, taking into account that many of the machines they don't even reach 30 fps to move Forza Motorsport 6: Apex to 4K. Do we believe it?
"We must bear in mind that the demo we have seen of ForzaTech has very little development time, so it would not be surprising that a project with more time behind it could achieve even better numbers thanks to further optimization but… outperform a top-of-the-range PC?"
We'll have to wait and see when Project Scorpio arrives and if Forza Motorsport 7 is able to deliver on that promise or if we have to wait for something more to see games than if they did when the console is more mature.
