On different occasions we have spoken on these pages about the _gamer_ public, and it is that PC videogames have more and more weight in the industryThis is demonstrated by the models focused for this purpose, as well as certain accessories (this is the case of some routers or even monitors) that focus on a _gamer_ audience. A second youth that not so long ago many could not even imagine, since they bet on consoles as a basic element in the future of video games. The eternal debate between console and PC.
In this sense Steam, the digital video game distribution company, occupies a main place within the pyramid of this industry and how At each change of month, (we have already been in April for three days) it has arranged the usage data on its platform. Some figures among which we find one that really interests us and that is none other than the weight of Windows 10 in the general calculation of users.
These are the data corresponding to the month of March and they highlight above all the growth experienced by Windows 10, which little by little little detaches from the domain that until not so long ago kept Windows 7 within the total number of Steam users.
In this sense, we find that the owners of a Windows 10 computer that use Steam are already the majority, specifically 51.2% of users , of which 50.15% use Windows 10 64-bit and the remaining 1.05% Windows 10 in the 32-bit version.
If we go down one step, and always within the Windows platform we find how Windows 7 drops considerably in number of computers, since it is located in slightly less than 30% in terms of presence on Steam, with a drop of 1.44% compared to the previous month.
In this way, between these two versions share almost the entire pie, since both the other versions of Windows and the rest of the systems present in the graphic case of Mac OSX or Linux, they have practically anecdotal figures.
It is also a rather striking study that serves to know a little more about the user profile, since it allows to know the type processor that is most used, the preferred language or the RAM that prevails in the different devices.
