Anniversary Update will bring background music and other new features to Xbox One
We already discussed a few days ago how the date of August 2 will be marked by many users on the calendar to check if the Anniversary Update for Windows 10is as good as we've been told in recent weeks.
An update that will arrive globally for both mobile phones, tablets, laptops and desktops and of course, the Microsoft console, Xbox One (and Xbox One S when it comes out) . And it is that in the leisure machine of those from Redmond we are going to be able to enjoy a series of more than interesting features thanks to the Anniversary Update
Among the innovations in the Xbox One, one stands out that will surely delight a good number of users (including myself) such as playing music on background, so that we have finished having to use our computer or a stereo as a complement while we play our favorite video game.
Let's review what are the new functions that the Anniversary Update will bring to the Xbox One, starting as we have said, with the playing music in the background:
- Playing music in the background
- Cortana arrives as a previous version in Spain, Germany, the United States, France, Italy and the United Kingdom seeking to offer an experience similar to the one from other Windows 10 devices.
- New collection of games: The games are reordered to facilitate their search. Now you'll be able to see more of your game collection, quickly access your own “Ready to Install” tab, and get more information about the titles in your queue.
- Facebook Friend Finder on Xbox One: Finder will improve with the update allowing you to find and add your Facebook friends on Xbox . As more players link Facebook and Xbox Live accounts, more suggestions will appear.
- Improved Sharing on Xbox One: It will now be easier to share screenshots, GameDVR clips, and achievements on Xbox One. Players now can share content in fewer steps.
The truth is that all these features look great and can notably enhance, not so much the performance of the console, but rather Yes, the ability that the user will have to take advantage of all the potential that it hides, up to now and sometimes somewhat burdensome.
