If you are a Windows 10 Preview user, you have a new update for your Xbox One
Today we talked about future features coming to Xbox One with the release of the Anniversary Update but let's not forget that users of Windows 10 Previewcan enjoy before anyone else news that will later come to the Microsoft machine.
A program that access is only by invitation and whose lucky users have seen how they already have a new Build available to download and try with which some of the most common problems that users commented on the Xbox One will be solved.
Specifically we are facing an important Build, something that is revealed in its size of almost 4 GB. This is the version with serial rs1_xbox_rel_1608.160701-2142.
These are the new features and corrections that come to contribute:
- Difficulty getting into My Games and Apps.
- Problems with Cortana recording and localization.
- Error when trying to change payment methods in the Store.
- The battery icon erroneously displayed the remaining amount.
- We have added several configuration options that are already found in Windows today. These include SmartScreen Filter, which sends URLs you visit in Microsoft apps to check against a list of potentially harmful sites, and ID, which helps Microsoft show more personalized ads in UWP apps. You can choose to turn them off and manage your Xbox One preferences.
Despite the effort to solve the errors that users comment on in the _feedback_, there are still a series of errors that we now detail:
- Cortana may take a little longer to respond to your commands.
- Your marks on Home may disappear.
- Errors when adjusting apps, among others.
- Certain content (games, apps, DLC) purchased from the new store may only be available on consoles with the latest Preview update.
- Some of the parental control functions are not working properly in the current version. As a result, we encourage users to use caution when letting children access a console that is running the latest Xbox One update until these issues are resolved.
- Community Calendar. Links to the store in the Community Calendar event details do not currently work.
And given all these fixes, what do you think of how Microsoft is carrying out the arrival of the latest Windows 10 news on Xbox One? Are you happy with the behavior of the console for now or are there still major bugs?_
