The new preview for Xbox One arrives to facilitate the use of add-ons

Anonim

A new update for the Xbox One is starting to roll out, but don't rush, it's a version only available to members of the program _preview_ of the console Microsoft A way to get new features before anyone else available to a select few in exchange for appropriate _feedback_.

And it is that the increasingly closer Anniversary Update is marking all day to day within the Windows ecosystem and Microsoft _gadgets_. News that will arrive with this _update_ and that like a dropper are released in small updates.

In this case we are dealing with version rs1_xbox_rel_1608.160705-1925 and among the new features that it brings, one that will allow players to independently manage the extra content downloaded in each one of them stands out above all. the games they have installed.

And it is that until now, when deleting a game we could not manage the DLC that we had obtained, having to install the game again. In this way, we can now manage all these accessories without the game necessarily having to be installed.

The other features provided by this hotfix are:

  • Improved Add-on Management: Previously, you needed to install a game to manage its add-ons, which was problematic if you were low on storage space .A new option has now been added in Settings to help manage these plugins. To access this function we must go to All settings > System > Storage > Manage add-ons. Thus, when uninstalling a game and keeping the add-ons, this new menu will show this data and allow its uninstallation.
  • Updates: A new Updates tab has been added to My Games & Apps where you can view games and apps with available updates, but they have not been installed.
  • Selecting a game or application from the Updates tab allows us to install available updates. If the console is in Instant-On mode, updated games and applications will be installed automatically the next time the console goes to connected sleep.

Also with this version a series of errors are corrected:

  • "Players are no longer required to enter their password to purchase Xbox 360 compatible games, movies, or TV shows if their profile fits Lock It Down"
  • "Fixes most cases where individual game pages show Buy button instead of Install button."
  • Resolved an issue where EA Access games cannot launch due to error 0x803f8003.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented gameplay videos from being displayed in the Groove Music app.
  • This update contains a fix to address lag and frame rate delay in certain games.

Let's remember that Windows 10 began its deployment on Xbox One consoles at the end of 2015, providing a new image for the main menu of the Xbox One as the main claim.Little by little, thanks to the _preview_ program, it has been adding different new features while waiting for the arrival of the most recent version of Windows 10 open to everyone.
