First Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer videos and details
Next November 5New Call of Duty: Ghostsarrives at PC and, as usual, what has generated the most interest from its followers is how Infinity Ward and Activision will approach the online mode of the game. Now we finally know what its creators are up to.
Those who dreamed of seeing a multiplayer Battlefield style in the next Call of Dutycan go down the fig tree. What is offered will follow the same style as always, with labyrinthine settings like a mousetrap and direct action in which you can kill and die dozens of times during the same game.
That does not mean that we are going to run out of our share of surprises and, although we are used to reading negative comments towards the saga due to its excessive continuity, it is acceptable to say that this time they have put something more of meat on the spit.
The expected novelties are there, and among them are 14 new maps, 30 new weapons and up to twenty new killstreaks , but they also offer some changes that promise to extend the gaming experience and the hours we will spend melting our fingers with the mouse plus keyboard combo.
The most important lies in the customization of our character, which in addition to including the female gender for the first time will have 20,000 different combinations between traits, clothing and class modifications. Once the appearance of our character is created, it will be time to focus on the classes that we will use to smash heads at short or long distance, and that is where another of the additions comes into play, the use of the points system established in Black Ops 2.
Do you want to play with almost a dozen perks? You may. Do you want to forget about those advantages and become a tank with legs? Also. Everything will depend on the use you make of the points that you have at your disposal, having different scores in perks and weapons to compensate for the different classes that we can use For example, there are perks that will only spend one point, but there will also be others that will eat five.
The last differentiation with respect to what has been seen to date will be in the scenarios and how we will move through them. Everything will be more fluid, being able to overcome obstacles simply by running towards them, and the areas and cities that will serve as battlefields gain in variety thanks to the possibility of destroying the environment , either by blowing up a gas station with an explosion that takes several players or opening a hole in the wall that allows us to shoot from that new cover.
It looks good, but the graphical innovations seem quite scarce and, in the battle for graphics in ultra Battlefield 4 has much more to contribute. Then there are the tastes of each one, of course, but I leave that to your choice. What do you think? Do you plan on giving Call of Duty: Ghosts a try?
