Improvements that will be possible thanks to the application of technology based on artificial intelligence with which to further optimize communication via Microsoft Stream.

For those of you who don't know, Microsoft Stream is a video service for businesses and educational environments available in 181 markets and 44 languages ​​in which users in each company can view and share videos securely. Whether it's class recordings, meetings, presentations, learning sessions... the goal is to facilitate collaboration between users and encourage teamwork.

Microsoft Streams is a service available to Office 365 Enterprise customers and among the possibilities it offers, it highlights the function that passes from voice to text, an available option that automatically transcribes videos uploaded to Stream. And this function will now be enhanced by applying AI-based technology.

In the announcement made at Ignite 2019, Microsoft has shown how the application of this new technology allows you to eliminate background noise in a videoso that only the voice of the person speaking remains in it.Therefore, there is a gain in audio quality, especially in environments with ambient noise.

The technology is called Voice Enhance and is responsible for eliminating background noise that can disturb conversations. This is to help participants focus on the message of the person speaking, not on what is going on around them. It is also very easy to use, as all you have to do is click on the corresponding icon to activate or deactivate it.

In office environments, in companies, in educational centers, background noise can be common, so a function like Voice Enhance can be more than useful for improve communication between people using Microsoft Stream.

For now Voice Enhance is not yet available, but the American company assures that will arrive at Microsoft Streams in the second quarter of 2020.
