And this is what Microsoft has done, because the American company has announced the launch of new functions and tools that seek to provide transparency to the treatment that is carried out on the data on our devices.A series of new utilities coming first for Windows 10 Insider Program users.

And the first of those tools that we will see arrive is Windows Diagnostic Data Viewer, an application that can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store if you belong to the Insider Program and with which we can diagnose the use made of the data collected in the cloud on our device. These are the data you can manage:

• Common data, such as OS name, version, device ID and type, selected diagnostic level, etc. .
• Device settings and connectivity, such as device properties and features, preferences and settings, peripherals, and device network information.
• Product performance data and service showing device status, performance and reliability information, video consumption functionality on the device and file consultations of the same. It is important to note that this feature is not intended to capture what the user typically sees or hears.
• Product and service usage data including details about device usage, operating system, applications, and services.
• Software installation and inventory, such as downloaded applications and installation history or device update information.

An improvement that will not come alone, because Microsoft has prepared improvements and updates in the Microsoft Privacy PanelFor this, a new Activity History page will be added that will allow users to access the data stored in the Microsoft account. In addition, new features are coming for:

• View and manage media consumption data, as well as product and service activity on the Activity History page.
• Export any of the data viewed in the dashboard.
• Delete a specific item for more individual control.
