Microsoft bets again on iOS with a new application to make our photos more fun
Today, talking about closed circles when we talk about big technological brands is absurd. Let's think about Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Apple... well Apple not so much. They all have products that they make available to their rivals Thus, Google has applications for iOS, Microsoft offers apps for the other two large companies and reaches agreements with Samsung while this makes panels for iPhone screens…they're all circles and they're all connected.
That is something that Microsoft has always seen with a broad vision.Their environment is not limited only to the Windows ecosystem and, on the one hand, seeking to attract more users and generate more income, they have expanded their developments to other platforms In fact and without going too far, they released a photo application for iOS called Microsoft Pix that even improves the one that iOS uses by default.
But they don't want to stay there and seeing the good reception that Microsoft pix had and the growth of photography with effects, they have opted for a new development. A new app coming to the App Store for iOS devices.
This new application is called Sprinkles and comes to iOS with the particularity that allows you to add text and stickers to the photos you take. A now fashionable feature in quite a few snapshots that we see on social networks. This is the list of features that Sprinkles offers:
- Possibility to insert text on photos
- Allows you to add drawings and stickers based on location
- Search the web for free stickers
- Add stickers, emoji and text in different styles
- Automatic age detection when looking at the camera
- Allows you to add effects to faces such as hats, mustaches, and other accessories thanks to face detection
Sprinkles is independent of Microsoft Pix and is aimed at younger audiences who like these kinds of fun effects on photos. It is free and if you want to try it for now, you can only do so if you have an account registered in the App Store in the United States (to do so you can follow the tutorial from Applesfera's colleagues).
