Microsoft releases the first Office Insider Build in the fast ring for iOS users
Table of contents:
When we talk about the Microsoft Insider Program we all think of the successive Builds that are coming to the market for WIndows. But this program goes further and we find how Xbox One users can make use of an adapted version, as well as those of applications such as Office.
From Redmond, however, they go further and in relation to the latter we saw how a few days ago they already made it possible for iOS users to have access to the Office Insider Program, either to apply it on the iPad or on the iPhone. And after the launch we already have the first compilation of this program, an update that for now comes only for the fast ring.
If you have an iOS device and are a user of the Insider Program you can download this compilation which adds new features and improvements focused on improving the operation of the app. However, there are also errors that we will see now.
General compilation failures
- It is required to have iOS 10 installed.
- After coming back from the background, the document we were working on cannot be opened. You need to open it again within recent documents.
- o Dropbox support works.
- Comments and changes made fail to display on screen.
- Bugs with bulleted lists where a rectangle appears instead of a circle.
Known Excel Errors
- Possibility of losing what is written in the formula bar when switching between applications and back.
- When you copy content from Excel and then do the same with another application, the copied content will be pasted into Excel, ignoring the second copy.
- Failure to preview images in thumbnails when inserting a graphic.
- Cutters may not appear in pivot tables.
Known Bugs in PowerPoint
- Slideshows with animations may not display correctly.
- In presentations with comments, the markers of said comments are not displayed correctly.
- The Apple Watch app is not yet supported.
If you want to be part of this program, do not delay in registering, because places to be part of the iOS Insider Program are limitedThis is shown by the fact that even once the selection has been made, it will be necessary to form an active part of the community by generating _feedback_ and if this process is not followed, the user will be eliminated.
