Build 15031 arrives in the PC fast ring for Insider Program users

While Windows 10 Mobile users continue to drink the water for news in the form of Builds, owners of a PC with the Redmond operating system continue to receive , slowly but surely, new compilations bringing news that we will soon see arrive with the Creators Update.
In this way, a few hours ago a new build was released, more precisely Build 15031, which is available at the fast ring within the Windows Insider Program for PC.A Build that can already be downloaded using Windows Update and from which we are going to tell you about the new features it brings.

Picture in Picture natively: Now we can perform any activity and while watching, for example, a movie in a floating window that the two activities will be possible to carry out at the same time. A new compact overlay mode has been introduced for UWP app developers so that an app window will be displayed on top of other windows so they don't get blocked.

Dynamic Lock: More security for our equipment by being able to synchronize them via Bluetooth with our mobile or tablet so that if we move too far the computer will automatically lock after 30 seconds.To turn on Dynamic Lock, make sure your phone is paired with your PC via Bluetooth and go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in Options and turn on Dynamic Lock .

Improvements and fixes
- Fixed issue that crashed Tencent apps and games.
- Updated OOBE so if there are no audio devices connected it now skips the Cortana intro.
- Fixed crash issue in some popular games due to platform issue.
- Fixed issue when game mode is enabled by default system wide.
- Fixed an issue where the nightlight turned off unexpectedly.
- Fixed an issue that caused audio to cut out when opening the Start menu after a crash.
- You can now drag apps from the apps list to create tile folders.
- Fixed an issue where Win + Shift + S would not work when capturing a region of the screen if the snipping tool was already running.
- "Fixed crash when using Fn + Pause/Break and stopping check progress when running chkdsk."
- Fixed slow resizing of windows with a pencil.
- Fixed issue where Windows Ink preview was not visible in Web Notes if Microsoft Edge was using a dark theme.
- Recognition of 3-finger gestures has been improved.
- It is now possible to rename disk volumes via File Manager in recent builds.
- Fixed a crash caused by quickly tapping a button to open the new Sharing experience that caused the Sharing interface to not open again until the device was rebooted.
- Fixed an issue with thumbnail lists in Photos and Groove Music.
- Fixed a problem with the Polish keyboard in the Settings search box.
- Fixed an issue where Cortana could use too much CPU in recent builds.
- Improved the use of Gifs in XAML-based applications.
- Icons now display as expected instead of squares in Settings> Games.
Known Issues for PC
- You may have problems with the download progress indicator that is displayed when in the path Settings> Update and security> Windows Update. Ignore the prompt and be patient.
- After upgrading to this build, unhandled exceptions in the Spectrum.exe service may cause errors. If so, try removing C:/ProgramData/Microsoft/Spectrum/PersistedSpatialAnchors and reboot.
- Go to Settings > Devices will lock the Settings app. You will not be able to pair a Bluetooth device.
- or you will be able to launch Connect via Notification Center, Win + K or Settings.
- Some games may be minimized to the taskbar at startup.
- Some hardware configurations may cause the live streaming window in the game bar to flash green.
- Microsoft Edge (F12) tools may stop working
- The ?Inspect Element? and ?View Source? Microsoft Edge may fail.
- You might mistakenly see the message "Some settings are managed by your organization" in Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. That doesn't mean your PC is being managed by anyone.
- On some PCs, the audio stops working sporadically. Fixed by restarting the audio service.
- The Notification Center can sometimes appear blank. Try to fix it by moving the taskbar to a different location on the screen.
