We already know the minimum hardware requirements to be able to use the Windows Holographic application
A little over a month ago we were able to see how during the presentation of information about the Creators Studio, those from Redmond dared with a demo presentation of Windows Holographic , Microsoft's idea to make virtual reality usable in its teams and ecosystem.
Thanks to the Windows Holographic application, compatible computers are going to be allowed to be able to serve as broadcast units to transmit content that we would later see in the relevant devices in the form of virtual reality glasses, the clearest example being the HoloLens.
And we knew little else until now, since we already know the hardware requirements that will be necessary to make use of the application and therefore both to be able to enjoy virtual reality at the highest level. Information that we have known thanks to the latest preview of Windows 10. And these are the requirements:
- 4 GB of RAM memory
- At least one USB 3.0 port available
- DirectX 12
- At least Quad Core processor
- 1 GB free hard disk space
- A space of 1, 5 or 2 meters
As we can see, it is a base that currently meets a large number of devices, although we do not know if these requirements must be fully met for nowor, on the contrary, it will be enough to gather some of them and we will only see a warning that indicates a non-optimized operation of the platform.
It won't be long before we have more data on this app, with which from Redmond they will try to attract as many manufacturers as possible to create VR headsets compatible with your platform.
And it seems that from Redmond they are putting a lot of effort into this facet, which can be widely exploited by applications of all kinds, whether in the field of design, education or even in the medical field. There is curiosity to know how this mixed reality is reflected in our lives and we are already looking forward to trying the experience."
Do you think it will work or that we will have to wait longer after it comes out to take advantage of it?
