The Microsoft Lumia brand is officially introduced to the public

Although we already know that Microsoft is replacing the Nokia brand in all of the Finnish company's devices and services, the same has made the official presentation of the Microsoft Lumia brand , where it also shows the first steps to remove the Windows Phone brand.

Microsoft Lumia will be the name for all smartphones that have the Windows Phone operating system installed. The name Nokia, at least for now, would be reserved for all phones like the Nokia 130.

The company has also presented how the logos would be displayed on the terminals. On the back (and as you could see in the cover image), it will bear the name Microsoft with its logo on the left. And on the front of the smartphone we will have “Microsoft” printed near the top center speaker.

It is strange that, considering the transition you are trying to make, they have not included the “Lumia” branding anywhere on the terminal. But surely Tuula Rytilä, vice president of the Mobile Marketing division, had her reasons for it.

On Nokia's “Conversations” page, Tuula comments that all her web pages, both global and local,will change to give way to the name Microsoft Lumia This will be done in the course of the next few days (in fact they have already announced this change on the Windows Phone Fanpage).

Then he comments things like that they hope to present the first Microsoft Lumia soon, and that, of course, they will continue to offer support for all Lumia terminals presented in the past, with the same attention and "love ” that they had before.

Windows Phone starts to disappear

As you know, in the presentation of Windows 10, Microsoft showed an image where you could see how the operating system would now be on any device (including smartphones). And the company did not go around confirming that Windows Phone will cease to exist in favor of a more global operating system

And the company seems to be taking the first steps to get the Windows Phone name out of the network. It was the turn of the Windows Phone Facebook page, where it will now be called Microsoft Lumia.

Surely this will also be transferred to the accounts of Twitter, Instagram and other social networks where the company is present.

Of course this is not to be alarmed, because as we mentioned, it is totally planned and it is the new path that Microsoft is taking with its operating system.
