Microsoft releases new updates for Windows 10 21H1

Windows 11 aside, life goes on at Microsoft with its previous operating system. A Windows 10 that continues to receive updates for the different versions that are still supported. This is the case of Windows 10 in versions 21H1, 20H2 and 2004, which have received new optional updates.
Updates arrive via builds 19044.1320, 19043.1320, 19042.1320, and 19041.1320 for Windows 10 versions 21H1, 20H2, and 2004 Some Builds that are associated with the KB5006738 patch and that focus on improving the use of sub titles, correcting problems with the wallpaper, improving the use between browsers and more changes that we are now reviewing.
Changes and improvements
- Fixes an issue that may prevent sub titles from displaying in some video applications and video streaming websites.

- Fixes an issue that prevents software-defined networking (SDN) virtual machines from working when you configure bandwidth throttling Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) VPN band.
- Fixed a Primary Refresh Token (PRT) refresh issue that occurs when VPN users sign in with Windows Hello for Business when the VPN connection is offline. Users receive unexpected authentication requests for online resources that are configured for user logon frequency (SIF) in Azure Active Directory-Conditional Access .
- Fixed an issue that caused Windows to enter BitLocker recovery after a service update.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Kerberos.dll to stop working within the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS). This occurs when LSASS processes concurrent User-to-User (U2U) service to user (S4U) requests for the same client user.
- Fixes a code integrity issue that could cause a memory leak.
- The ability of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint to identify and intercept ransomware and advanced attacks has been improved.
- Fixes an issue in OOBE that could cause Windows Autopilot provisioning to fail.
- Fixed a bug that causes the lock screen to appear black if you set up the slideshow.
- Fixes a reliability issue with LogonUI.exe , which affects the rendering of network status text on the credentials screen.
- Fixes an issue that causes Server Message Block (SMB) query directory requests to fail when the buffer size is large.
- Fixes a memory leak problem in lsass.exe on domain controllers in the forest root domain that occurs when you have multiple forests and multiple domains in each forest. SID naming functions leak memory when a request comes from another domain in the forest and crosses forest boundaries.
- Addresses an issue with the virtual machine (VM) load balancing feature, which ignores a site's fault domain.
- Addresses a known issue that could prevent the successful installation of printers that use the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP).
Known Issues
- Devices with Windows installations created from custom offline media or a custom ISO image may have Microsoft Edge Legacy removed by this update, but not automatically replaced by the new Microsoft Edge.This issue is only encountered when creating custom offline media or ISO images by incorporating this update into the image without first installing the Standalone Servicing Stack Update (SSU) released on or after March 29, 2021.
- After installing the June 21, 2021 update (KB5003690), some devices cannot install new updates, such as the July 6, 2021 (KB5004945) or later updates. You will receive the error message "PSFX_E_MATCHING_BINARY_MISSING. "
