How to disable animations and transparency in Windows 11 to save on RAM and resources
Table of contents:
Windows 11 is already among us, still in the testing phase, and little by little we are getting to know the latest version of the operating system for Microsoft computers, it has been among us for a few weeks. The computers that can install it are limited, due to some demanding requirements, but performance can be improved on those that fit the most just by deactivating two basic options.
This is disable both animations in Windows 11 and transparency, so that computers with less powerful hardware, leave the RAM memory used in these minor tasks free for others that are more important.
Ideal when specifications are limited
These improvements are very visual, it must be said, but in teams that are in a hurry, any saving is welcome, especially when as in this case, the changes don't interfere with our daily use.
Steps to deactivate animations and transparency in Windows 11 just access the menu Settings and in the area to the left of the screen, look for the section Accessibility in the options column."
"When clicking on Accessibility a series of options are displayed on the right from which we choose Visual effects, the second in the list."
In Visual effects we will see in two fields both the Animation effectsas the Transparency Effects. Simply click on each one of them to deactivate them."
"Only when deactivating Transparency Effects>will it have a solid color. We will see the absence of animations in the rest of the interactions with Windows 11."
These Windows 11 effects and animations are very visual and make the operating system quite attractive, but can hurt system performance if we have not very powerful hardware.
