A few hours ago, following the usual roadmap, Microsoft has released its monthly update for the different versions of Windows 10 that still have support. We already have the July Patch Tuesday here and as usual, it arrives loaded with news.

Like every second Tuesday of each month, we already have with us and ready to download, updates for different versions of the Microsoft operating system. A new set of updates that add both improvements and fixes for all supported versions of Windows 10 21H1, 20H2 and 2004

  • Updates for verifying usernames and passwords.
  • Updates to improve security when Windows performs basic operations.
  • Fixes a bug that we already saw and that can make printing difficult on certain printers. This issue affects several makes and models, but primarily receipt or label printers that connect via a USB port.

Problems still present

  • When using the Microsoft Japanese Input Method Editor (IME) to type Kanji characters in an application that automatically allows input of Furigana characters, the correct Furigana characters may not be output. You may need to manually type the characters furigana.
  • Devices with Windows installations created from custom offline media or a custom ISO image may lose the classic Edge app (Edge Legacy) and may it is not automatically replaced by the new Microsoft EdgeThis issue only occurs when creating custom ISO or offline media images by sliding this update to the image without first installing the Standalone Servicing Stack Update (SSU) released on or after March 29, 2021. To avoid this failure, the update of March 29, 2021 or later must be installed on the custom offline media or ISO image before swiping the LCU. To do this with the combined SSU and LCU packages that are now used for Windows 10, version 20H2 and Windows 10, version 2004, you will need to extract the SSU from the combined package.
"

If you have any of the Windows 10 versions mentioned, you can download the update using the usual path, that is,Settings > Update and Security > Windows Update or do it manually at this link."
