A leaked Microsoft document ahead of time suggests whether Windows 10 Sun Valley may not actually be Windows 11
Table of contents:
Microsoft has marked June 24 on our agenda so that we are attentive to an important announcement and everything seems to indicate that it is about Windows 11 or at least the first details And before that day, information has been leaked in which Windows 11 is named as such.
Until now we were used to two Windows 10 updates a year. On the one hand, the one that is launched in spring, of which this year we have known Windows 10 May 2021 Update and on the other, the autumn one, which in relation to 2021 we know as Windows 10 Sun Valley. But given the slew of improvements that look set to come with this update… what if Sun Valley was actually Windows 11?
Windows 10 Sun Valley or Windows 11
Note line 8 of code in the first box
It's something that floats in the air, especially when Microsoft has had a lapse and, as reported in Windows Latest, they have accidentally published onesupport page for the next Windows Sun Valley update before its official announcement. As usually happens in these cases, the website in question no longer exists, but evidence has remained.
There are traces of a Microsoft support document revealing ongoing testing for the Windows Sun Valley Update. Up to that point everything was normal, if it weren&39;t because it appears that Sun Valley will coexist with Windows 10 But wasn&39;t it a simple update of the same system we now know? "
The edited document
The fact of compatibility with Windows 10 may imply that they are referring to a new operating system and in fact, Windows 10 appears and Sun Valley as distinct systems on the lines of code. And while the support document appears to have been post-edited and any reference to Windows Sun Valley is gone, you can still check that information on Github.
With all this data, more doubts arise. Will Sun Valley actually be Windows 11 or, as we believed until now, will it be another version of Windows 10? We will have to wait until the 24th to find out for sure. Also, keep in mind that Microsoft has paused the release of builds for Sun Valley for a few weeks, perhaps to prevent potential leaks.
