Microsoft pauses the release of builds for Windows 10 for several weeks and everything points to the announcement in June of Windows 11

One of the news this past week was the announcement that Microsoft is working on a new version of its operating system that we now know as Windows. A job that is already showing its first consequences, as the release of builds based on Windows 10 21H2 has been stopped after releasing Build 21390.

What is expected to be the big update for this year 2021 and that you should see as its update arrives in October or November, will see how the release of builds on the Dev Channel is paused, presumablyuntil June 24 does not pass, the date set by Microsoft to announce news.

Do we have to wait for great news?

As we already know, the builds that Microsoft releases within the Dev Channel in the Insider Program are the most advanced in terms of news. They anticipate many of the changes that we will see arrive in the 21H2 branch and Microsoft may not want to step on something new that comes with Windows 11.

And it is that some users can see in this fact, in the temporary suspension regarding the release of builds in the Dev Channel, the possibility that Windows 10 21H2 or Windows 11 are essentially the same or at least share many aspects.

The truth is that at the moment all we know is that the company will pause its release schedule of development builds of Windows 10 21H2 for several weeks and everything indicates that we will have to wait for the event on June 24, 2021 to resume the release rhythm.

It is presumed that Microsoft will focus its efforts in the remaining days to polish and finish developing the changes that should come with Windows 11 , leaving aside what we already know about Windows 10 21H2 and that it is much more developed.

We must not forget Nadella's words, which referred to the fact that the next big Windows update will be one of the most important of the decade , and with it, he proposed a change that is probably focused in a very special way on the interface of this operating system that perhaps goes much further than the aesthetic changes of menus with curves, new icons or renewed dark mode that we know so far .
