Windows 10 hides wonders like this: a function to search the web using our own screenshots
Table of contents:
Windows 10 hides a large number of functions and surprises some that go unnoticed despite the great utility they can offer. This is the case of the option that allows us to carry out a search based on the screenshots we have taken
One more Windows 10 option that appears hidden within the search options. If a few days ago we saw how he hid an integrated translator, now this function allows us to use the web browser to carry out searches by uploading an image of the ones we have captured
A great hidden function
"A function that is integrated into Windows 10 search, so we won&39;t have to install any third-party programs. Simply enter the search menu by pressing the Start Menu or with the Windows + S key combination ."
Once the window is open we have to focus on the icon that appears discreetly at the bottom right of the window.
This service uses Bing to search the web for the content that appears in the screenshot that we have taken and actually Windows is in charge of notifying that it is going to look for that image and for this it will use it with its processing services.
At that point it is enough to take any capture, even a cut that we have made of an application or of any system application being useful , including the browser.
When we click on the icon, the system is responsible for uploading the image to Bing and Microsoft servers where the search will be carried out in a new browser tab . The results related to the image will then be displayed on Bing.
We can repeat this process with any image that we have as a screenshot of the computer, regardless of the application that is in that moment we are executing on the screen.
