You can now try the Windows 10 Alarms & Clock app and savor the Sun Valley-ready interface
Table of contents:
In December we saw how Microsoft was preparing changes for an application such as Windows Alarms and Clocks. An application that you will have installed on your computer but, if not, you can download from the Microsoft store.
And those improvements that we have already seen are beginning to reach users in stages. The changes are focused mainly on the aesthetic section, with an interface that focuses better on the general appearance offered by the Sun Valley version of Windows 10 and that will cause a return to rounded edgesto the Redmond operating system.
Preparing for the fall update
The improvements are available with the latest update to Windows 10 Alarms & Clock which is available for download now. And although we will have to wait until autumn with the 21H2 branch to see the big Windows update, we can now access this new interface.
An application with a new look thanks to the inclusion of new animations, different effects, updated designs and especially with the application of corners without angles, as they have rounded edges that integrate better with the operating system.
With the Windows 10 Clock and Alarms app you can set timers, alarms, use a stopwatch, a world map to see where it is day or night or access a world clock to see the time in different parts of the world.
If you don't have access to the new look of the app yet, you can go to the Microsoft Store to download the updated version directly to your computer with access to the file that appears at the end of the article. You can also check for pending updates in the Microsoft Store app on your PC.
