We have talked on different occasions about the Your Phone app for Windows 10 and its Android companion, Your Phone Companion. An application that has received different updates over time and now improves again with the arrival of a new function

If you have a compatible phone, you can now access your phone's settings and configuration directly from your PC with the Tu Compañero app Telephone. Of course, it is about the basic settings, so that through a series of shortcuts you can carry out options that are usually available in the quick accesses of the mobile.

To the functions already known, now Your Phone Companion adds the possibility of being able to activate or deactivate functions such as Bluetooth, changing the volume, turn Do Not Disturb mode on or off, or control the media player. In addition, they are working on the possibility of running more than one application at the same time as we have on our mobiles, something that until now was limited to an individual application."

These options are added to those we already know and that allow, for example, the synchronization of the photos that we have in the mobile gallery , battery status, access to contacts, the ability to reply to or write messages or view phone applications from the PC screen.

For now, almost all phones that support the Your Phone Companion app are from Samsung, but Microsoft seems to be testing the possibility of bringing these improvements to models based on Android from other brands such as Huawei, Xiaomi, Realme, Nokia…

These improvements have already been tested by Microsoft and hopefully it won't be too long until we see them reflected in the open application to the general public with more compatible phones.
